Kurve kratzen (2027, Work on Commission tanzmainz)

World Premiere: Februar 17, 2027, U17

Sometimes you just have to wonder: one sock is still there, the other isn’t. Keys: somewhere. Hats and umbrellas: nowhere to be found. Things that just disappear. If you really think about it, even friends are sometimes suddenly gone – they’ve just taken off. Or memories: first they fade, and in the end you can’t even recall them anymore. And time is the worst of all: you can’t stop it; it just slips away. What parts of us will be gone in ten years – and what will remain forever? Where does everything that never comes back actually go?

Following the huge success of “Quatsch”, choreographer Antje Pfundtner is once again focusing on an audience aged seven and up in her new work with the tanzmainz ensemble. And just as before, the Hamburg-based artist will rely on dynamic dance, humor, and direct engagement with the audience. “Kurve kratzen” promises to be a moving and fast-paced dance piece about disappearance.

Recommended age: 7 and up
