Call for applications for a paid artist residency as part of “Touch is change”

Dear friends and colleagues,

As part of our current research practice “Touch is change”, we, Shared Leadership in Dance (SLiD), are interested in the following questions: What touches people? Where can points of contact be used, increased, recognised – or even connected?

We would now like to combine this research with a residency programme and, in this context, award a paid artist residency to dancers, performers or choreographers based and working in Hamburg.

WHAT: We are awarding an artist residency worth € 2,000 (gross) to artists based in Hamburg
WHEN? 6-17 October 2025
WHERE? Studio Alte Post, Kaltenkirchener Straße 1, 22769 Hamburg
APPLICATION: Please send your application by 11 July 2025 to: slid@posteo.de

All (further) details on the application and conditions here.

We look forward to receiving your applications!

SLiD is a commitment to collaboration and to sharing knowledge, resources, and labor in the field of dance. It was initiated by the three choreographers Jenny Beyer, Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft (APiG), Ursina Tossi and their teams.

SLiD is funded by the Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg, Behörde für Kultur und Medien.
