{"id":3459,"date":"2020-05-27T14:58:06","date_gmt":"2020-05-27T12:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/deutscher-tanzpreis-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-10-20T10:39:26","modified_gmt":"2020-10-20T08:39:26","slug":"deutscher-tanzpreis-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/deutscher-tanzpreis-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Deutscher Tanzpreis 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft receives the German Dance Award 2020 for \u201eoutstanding artistic developments\u201c!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a aria-label=\"German Dance Award (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deutschertanzpreis.de\/home\/?L=1\" target=\"_blank\">German Dance Award<\/a> \u2013 the highest distinction in the field of dance in Germany \u2013 was presented on Saturday, 17 October 2020, at the Aalto Theatre in Essen.<br><br>The German Dance Award honours outstanding personalities on the German dance scene \u2013 regardless of whether they have been or are making dance-related contributions on stage or behind the scenes, in education, journalism, science or other areas of dance. The award also honours performers, ensembles and projects in the dance sector for future-oriented initiatives, exemplary concepts or extraordinary productions.<br><br>The jury selected the awardees for 2020 on 19 February. Choreographer Raimund Hoghe will receive the German Dance Award 2020, which includes prize money of 20,000 euros. \u201eAntje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft\u201c will receive an award for outstanding impulses in contemporary dance. In her productions, which she has been developing with a very young audience in mind in recent years, the Hamburg choreographer addresses social issues and focuses on a social-communal approach with her team <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201eAntje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft\u201c<\/a>. This award includes prize money of 5,000 euros.<br><br><strong>Statement of the jury:<\/strong><br><br>Antje Pfundtner has been working in Hamburg for many years as a contemporary choreographer with a very special profile, which also reflects the social dimension of dance, through the themes of her pieces as well as through her working method, which is always socially oriented and organized in society.<br>She trained at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in the field of Moderne Theaterdans. In addition to her solo performances <a aria-label=\"\u201eeigenSinn\u201c (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/eigensinn-2003\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201eeigenSinn\u201c<\/a> and  <a aria-label=\"\u201eTIM ACY\u201c (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/tim-acy\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201eTIM ACY\u201c<\/a>, which have been shown around the world, she has enjoyed success through many group and collaborative projects. She was invited to the Tanzplattform Deutschland and was honoured with the George Tabori Award in 2016.<br>Since 2012, she has been developing innovative formats on the topic of hosting in addition to stage plays and productions with children and young people in the team <a aria-label=\"\u201eAntje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft\u201c (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201eAntje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft\u201c<\/a> (APiG). For example, <a aria-label=\"TISCHGESELLSCHAFTEN (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/tischgesellschaften\/\" target=\"_blank\">TISCHGESELLSCHAFTEN<\/a>, funded by the TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund, is a project of networking, resource sharing and the consolidation of the exchange of knowledge as part of the \u201eAntje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft\u201c team.
