{"id":7093,"date":"2025-03-06T19:28:56","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T18:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/?p=7093"},"modified":"2025-03-07T16:43:22","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T15:43:22","slug":"funding-for-shared-leadership-in-dance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/funding-for-shared-leadership-in-dance\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding for &#8220;Shared Leadership in Dance&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Funding for \u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PRESS RELEASE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamburg, March 6, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A first continuation of Tanzpakt funding at state level: Hamburg approves \u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019 &#8211; a collaborative model in contemporary dance based on resource sharing by Jenny Beyer, Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft and Ursina Tossi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The established Hamburg choreographers <a href=\"https:\/\/jennybeyer.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jenny Beyer<\/a>, Antje Pfundtner and <a href=\"https:\/\/ursinatossi.com\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ursina Tossi<\/a> are breaking new ground in artistic collaboration: their concept <strong>\u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019<\/strong> has been approved by the Ministry of Culture and Media. This creates an innovative <strong>model for the structural and financial sharing of funding and resources <\/strong>in<strong> <\/strong>Hamburg&#8217;s independent dance scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From summer 2025, the three choreographers, who mainly produce at Kampnagel and were funded by TANZPAKT, will launch this long-term project. The aim is to establish <strong>sustainable structures for artistic creation, create synergies and yet preserve individual signatures<\/strong>. The model responds to the post-pandemic reorganisation of funding policy in the performing arts and focuses on a structure and ethic of sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Partners in Crime: A strong network to interlink and strengthen working structures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three artists and teams contribute their many years of artistic and cultural-political expertise and experience as well as their international networks. Jenny Beyer with the <a href=\"https:\/\/jennybeyer.de\/en\/open-studio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u2018OFFENE STUDIOS\u2019<\/a>, Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft with her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antjepfundtner.de\/en\/tischgesellschaften\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u2018TISCHGESELLSCHAFTEN\u2019,<\/a> URSina Tossi with <a href=\"https:\/\/ursinatossi.com\/audiodescription-access\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u2018AESTHETICS OF EXCESS &amp; ACCESS\u2019<\/a>. They are in close dialogue with each other and with institutions and artist collectives as well as <strong>regional and national partners<\/strong>. These partners reinforce the Hamburg model and take it into other artistic contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Common goals: Sharing resources \/ consolidating structures \/ setting new artistic impulses in contemporary dance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>At the centre of \u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019 is the idea of shared responsibility and joint creation as the basis for artistic creation in contemporary dance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>They bundle networks, production structures and mediation practices.<em> <\/em>They share knowledge, working spaces and responsibility with the aim of sustainable artistic production. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>They develop joint formats for artistic research, distribution and press and public relations work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On 11 July 2025<\/strong>, the <strong>\u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019<\/strong> team invites colleagues and people interested in dance to a joint discursive and participatory event at <strong>Studio Alte Post<\/strong>. The aim is to discuss questions of sharing and the possibilities of solidary interdependencies and connections in contemporary dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In November 2025<\/strong>, <strong>F\u00dcHLER<\/strong> (AT) will celebrate its premiere &#8211; the first joint stage production of <strong>\u2018Shared Leadership in Dance\u2019 <\/strong>in cooperation with the <strong>Junges Schauspielhaus<\/strong>. Three pieces on the subject of <strong>touch<\/strong> will be interwoven into a joint evening and open up new perspectives on closeness, distance and connection through dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funded
