Drinnen und Draußen (2025, Work on Commission Junges Theater Bremen)

World Premiere: March 15, 2025, Brauhaus

„Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much.“ (Helen Keller) – We’re keeping to ourselves today. But am I part of it or do I have to stay outside? And who is this „we“ anyway? Can inside and outside be friends? And does the outside even exist? Together with the Moks ensemble and two dancers from tanzbar_bremen, FAUST prizewinner Antje Pfundtner explores in language and movement what can lie behind the words inside and outside. Playful answers to associative questions are found with absurd humour: How can I be outside myself and turn my innermost self inside out? What do I do if no team chooses me? Why am I being dragged into this? And who has let the dogs out again?

“‘Drinnen und Draußen’ is a very experimental piece that you have to get involved with, but which is a lot of fun if you do. The fact that not everything makes sense is part of the concept. And it’s precisely because something unexpected keeps happening that the play is so entertaining.” Alexandra Knief/ Weser-Kurier

“It’s an incredibly dynamic, very lively piece and always totally funny. The dance piece is made for children from the age of six, but it also works well for adults. (…) The company worked on the piece with children in advance and numerous school classes attended the rehearsals. It was worth it: the play hits its target audience exactly – and also all age groups who simply want to have fun at and in the theatre.” Frieda Ahrens, Iris Wessels/ Bremen zwei
